The big news in my knitting world today is that I should get my first pattern email from Kate Davies Knitting Season tomorrow, and the first creativity exercise? assignment? this Sunday. So I’m pretty excited about that. In other news…

Got the front (or bow) of my Schooner done and blocking! So hopefully tomorrow I will start on sewing it together and doing the finishing knitting.
And also, I have begun swatching for this month and next month’s CustomFit patterns, as advertised.

Happy Friday!
Yay for a finish, of sorts. All the sweater knitting around blog land has me itching to cast on, but I need to keep to my schedule, one of these months I will draw the number of my sweater projects!

That gives you time to prepare and dream a little ๐

I hope you have something good to watch or listen to while you swatch. Swatching is so boring.

Agreed – swatching is VERY boring ๐ I have been watching the Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries – Australian mystery series set in the 20’s. It’s pretty riveting!

Looking good, Schooner! Did you like the Knitting Season design? I did, and Iโm wondering if our exercise will be to design our own motif.

I did like it, though I’m not sure the shape would look good on me. Hope so – designing a motif would be a great exercise! Looking forward to the creativity exercises!

Haha! Yes! Although I like how loose this club is with โassignmentsโ and how encouraging she is.

Yes! I don’t know about the permissions issue, personally. I enjoyed the poem, though I don’t think I got out of it what she got out of it. I am looking forward to the motif challenge, though!
