Schooner is coming along – I’m a few inches past where I had to rip back, so I’m happy with that. Now it’s just straight stockinette for what will likely feel about like forever, then a bit of excitement binding off a few stitches for the armholes, then on to the shoulders. On the one hand, this is what I need right now. On the other, it’s kind of boring. Oh well – I need a gray top!
The yarn is knitting up quite lovely though…

It’s gray, yes. But it’s an active gray with lots of dabs and hints of subtle color throughout. So that’s working out! How are your current projects going?
I love gray. I haven’t knit in days due to work, but I hope this weekend will present some knitting time.

Worsted weight yarn and size 7 needles – they are like magic after a lot of fingering weight projects!

Wedding shawl #2 is close to 3/4 on the border, then the body will come later. I think I can get this done in time for gifting, but that means taking my blocking supplies with me! The car is going to be loaded.

That’s awesome – you are really moving! Are the blocking supplies easily packed?
