Since last week, I have made scant progress on my eternal Colorblock sweater, but am making good progress on my annual Halloween socks!
Specifically, this year’s socks are Fangtastic by Wendy Gaal, and the yarn is a kit from Knitter’s Brewing Company. My Mom gave it to me as a Christmas present last year, and I have been looking forward to it, but just didn’t get around to it until now. It is a toe-up pattern, which I prefer. The design features both some texture and some intarsia, which is an interesting mix for socks. After working on them for a couple of days, I’m about 2/3 of the way up the foot. Here it is so far…
And then a slightly less arty photo with a clearer image of the bats 🙂
Pleasant dreams! Muah ha ha ha!
Cute socks!!

I love the bats and the fact they are done in the same yarn so they aren’t “in your face” blatant is awesome! Cool present from your mom:)

Agreed! I also like that the bats are textural and a little more subtle. Also agreed that it was a cool present 🙂
