Project Progress

Since the last time I checked in, there has been some progress on my three (3) current projects, which is maybe too many projects for me. Anyway!

My argyle cardigan fronts are moving along! I bound off for the arm/sleeve area and in a few more inches can start neck edge decreases. The original pattern has a crew neck, but I like a V-neck, so I’m converting it.

My Half Moon Tee, which I am KALing with Alissa, is also coming along! I have a few more pattern bands, then just plain stockinette for a while. As a side note, I bought the purple yarn on a yarn crawl a few years ago, and am VERY happy with how it is showing up here. Yay for random yarn buys! This success has likely fueled some upcoming yarn shopping misbehavior, but I can’t grudge it.

And finally, I am a little behind on my full moon afghan squares, but very happy with how they are all turning out. The horses on the Lunar New Year and the Artemis II mission patch are both commercial sewn patches.

I still feel like these all need a little more zazz, but I’m leaving them alone for now. More zazz can be applied later if necessary.

So that is what I’m working on, other than school and life in general.

How about you? What are you working on, and how is it going?

  1. 9 more pattern repeats on my lace rectangular shawl. (Which means about 13 more repeats with a few rows frogged in between when I lose my place… It has a diamond pattern up the middle, and has 1, 3, 5, 7, 5, 3 center stitches which don’t correspond to the side panels. argh.

Thank you! I like how that one turned out too πŸ™‚ It really makes me happy that the space program is heating back up and there are some accomplishments being made – wanted to celebrate it somehow!
