Lunacy

Well, this was an extra-long break! There was a lot of life stuff going on this past few weeks, but hopefully it has calmed down, at least for a while. I’m going to try to post at least once a week going forward, and also keep up with reading everyone’s posts! Will be catching up this week.

In any case, the back of my Peggie Sue cardigan is done and the fronts are started. No picture for this post because there’s not much to see at this point. However, my Moons of 2026 blanket squares are coming right along! I have 2 1/2 crocheted, though not embellished yet.

The far left block is the Wolf moon, the middle is the Snow moon, and the block on the right is for Lunar New Year, which I know is a new and not a full moon, but it’s still important. I may need to do one more round on the two that are done to hopefully square them up a bit more. I don’t have a pattern, so just kind of making it up as I go. But I think they look good so far anyway! I did get the yarn for Tuesday’s Worm moon but have not started that one yet. Maybe tonight, maybe later this weekend.

How about you – what are you working on and how is it going?

  1. Seamless sweater. Has knitted-in pockets! I’m almost done with the pockets (it’s knit from top down) then 2 more inches and the ribbing. I start the sleeves by casting on at the shoulder seam and knit in the round to the cuff. ________________________________

  2. These look cool!

I’ve been working on a cross stitch bookmark more than any knitting projects this past week. I’ve been a bit sick, and for some reason the cross stitch is what my brain feels up to instead of any knitting projects.
