Mostly Ghostly – in Knitting and Life

Mostly Ghostly is coming right along! I’m well along on the torso and in an inch or 2 will be able to start the colorwork band at the waist. Then it’s just sleeves and done!

I’ve been focusing almost entirely on this project because this past week stockinette has been all that I can handle. And it would be nice to have it done for Halloween! In other ghostly news, over the weekend we went to see Amy Bruni (of Ghost Hunters and Kindred Spirits fame) give a talk about ghosts and true crime. I kind of wish it had been done for that event, but even without the sweater, it was a fun evening!

Are you doing anything spooky or fun for Halloween?

  1. The sweater is coming along nicely! At this rate, it looks to me like you’ll be able to get it done for Halloween, no problem.

I’ve been reading slightly creepier-than-usual (for me) books this month, and I’m looking forward to our annual viewing of The Nightmare Before Christmas, but other than that I’m not doing much for Halloween.

Though thanks for the reminder — I need to pull out my seasonal decorations soon.

  2. It looks SO cool. I don’t have Halloween plans but I do always put out little treat bags for the neighbours – all shop bought sweets, not a great deal of work, and it’s a nice thing to do 😊
