One of the fun things I did late in 2024 was take an online class with Felix Ford on journaling your year. It involves doing a journal wrap up of your year, which could be just a simple listing of all the things you did each month to something a lot more elaborate. I’ve been working on that year end journal, which has given me a lot of insight on 2024.
I got a reasonable number of craft projects done:
– 3 sweaters
– 1 crochet afghan
– 2 pairs of socks
– 2 sunhats
– 1 cowl
– 1 pair of mittens
– 1 shawl
– 1 coven of 4 little witches, 4 little cats, and 4 little pumpkins

I went to one yarn/fiber event with some wonderful friends

Visited a bunch of new yarn stores, explored my new home state, and got quite a few house projects done too.
So all in all, not a bad year. Looking forward to 2025!
What a great year you had, and so many completed projects!

I did a 12-month 12 project challenge this year:
6 Shawls (1 got 2nd prize ribbon at State Fair for the blue one)
5 Pullovers (2 got 2nd prize ribbons at State Fair for the Aran and the blue/yellow colorwork)
1 Cardigan
1 Filet Crochet Table runner
1 beanie (That I don’t have a picture for)
It was so much fun, I’m going to do it again in 2025, and already have 3 projects picked out! I’m going to try… drum roll… my 1st pair of socks, and that’s saying something since I’ve been knitting since 1966. My grandson has already outgrown his sweater!

I love Felix Ford. I have done her bullet journaling course and it was fabulous. I still use methods I learnt in it, years later.

A lovely collection of finished projects and Powdermill was so close to being a 2024 finish too. That’s a great photo of your trip to the yarn fair.

Thank you! I know – so close! But this way I start out 2025 with an early finish, which is nice too 🙂 Thank you – we missed having you there. Hope one of these years you will be able to come back!

Great wrap-up! I love the variety of your FOs. I miss crafty meet-ups… but my S’n’B has all moved away (me included) and I haven’t yet made any new RL crafting friends. Maybe 2025?
