Project

Friday FWIPs

Finally some decent progress to report! My gansey is really coming along. I’m on the second sleeve. I’d kind of like to finish it by the end of the month, though I don’t know if that’s possible. I’m focusing on it this weekend, so we shall see.

My Shark Tooth Tee (Ravelry link) is also coming along. I have joined it in the front so it is in the round now. The pattern calls for the lace just on the back, but I have started it on the front as well. I like it so far!

And finally, two more blocks done for my Homage to the Granny Square (Ravelry link) crochet blanket.

Punky helped. Mainly by giving moral support 🙂 Once I get the gansey done I plan to really focus on the blanket and SharkTooth Tee for a while and get some projects finished!

How are your projects (crafty or otherwise) going?

  1. The Gansey looks great! I love all the patterning. (And the tee is also pretty, but I still adore the granny squares the most. 😉 )

I’ve been trying to keep my number of WIPs to a manageable number. So far so good, but I really need to focus on my crocheted blanket and see if I can get it finished this summer.

    1. Thank you! The granny squares are pretty good, and the next patterns coming up are even cuter 🙂
Keeping WIPs to a manageable number is a great plan, but sometimes there’s just so many great patterns out there!

      1. I started a new sweater pattern (the Featherweight Sweater) because I’m hoping that I can finish it up by this fall, but otherwise I’m trying to not start anything new until I finish something currently on the needles.

Looking forward to seeing the next patterns!
