A long weekend here in the US meant extra time for knitting for me, so pretty decent progress to report this week!
My Homage to the Granny Square is coming along pretty well! Making good progress on the 2nd square type. Lots more to do, but it’s coming along 🙂
I’m now a little over halfway done with the first clue in Kate Davies’ Summer of Mystery MKAL. I like the colors more and more each time I look at it. They aren’t what I would normally use, but they are really pretty together.
Last but not least – made a LOT of progress on my gansey. The back is now finished, I did the shoulder tabs joining the front and back together, and started the neck. Whew! Then it’s just the sleeves and blocking.

Well I was in WI last week and there was a tornado up there. I saw plenty of tree damage.

Working on a burn-your-eyes-out yellow shawl. With any luck, I should be done this weekend if I can do it without blinding myself.

I am working on my gansey on this trip. I’m shaping the neckline now, so I should be ready to join shoulders and knit sleeves soon. I’m also watching Campion and knitting on Geoff Place MKAL!
