I only have two projects going right now, so they are moving along!

This is the Jessica Jones cowl (Ravelry link), and the yarn is Take Me To Your Party from the Havirland UFO Watch party yarn box. This is a really easy knit – just linen stitch. It has a nice drape and shows off the yarn colors well. Not the most exciting thing to make, but it’s pretty!

And still plugging away on my gansey! I have maybe 40 more rows on the front, then need to finish the back and the sleeves. Whew! This one is taking longer than I thought it would. But I love how it’s turning out so far!
How are your projects going, crafty or otherwise?
Wow! Love the colors on the first one and the detail on the second.

That cowl is great! Linen stitch really shows that yarn off well. And the gansey is coming along nicely too! That’s quite a large undertaking. I’m still impressed with how much work those are.

Thank you! Linen stitch really is great for this kind of yarn 🙂 OMG, you are not kidding. I don’t think I really grasped how much knitting was going to be involved with this thing. But it is turning out well, so that’s good!

I set up my design project to take to the coast. At the coast I realized that it didn’t work, so I frogged it and started again. I got home and decided it was too complex, so I frogged it and started again. I then decided I didn’t really like the border all that much, so I frogged it and started again. My new border didn’t work, so I…frogged it and started again.
I think I have it going nicely, this time. But I thought that all the other times, too! We shall see.

I hope this time is the charm! That is definitely part of the design process, but a really frustrating part!
