Wednesday WIP: Crowberry Progress

Banging Out a Sweater!

This sweater is moving right along! The torso is finished, and I just picked up for the first sleeve. I did not knit the bobbles (berries) on the yoke because that would have meant carrying along a third yarn, sometimes for 1 bobble every 20 or so stitches. So I’m going to go back and crochet or stitch those on later. But for right now, I think it is looking OK! Hopefully the sleeves will go quickly too 🙂

How are your WIPs going, crafty or not?

  1. I was out of town and out of current projects, so I picked up a linen top I’ve been playing with for the past two (?) years and took that with me. Maybe I’ll finish it this year? It’s basically 2 rectangles, oversized and swingy. Except I started it in the round and have just now split for front and back.

    1. Thank you! I started with what I wanted for the main color, then picked the background color to be similar but lighter color. I was a little limited by the available colors of the yarn, but decided on keeping to the primary colors, so red and yellow for the pattern.
