I’m finally far enough along to show off the pattern details! It is moving along nicely.βIt’s just at the point where I can start to do the underarm gussets. Then there’s still a lot to do, but at least I’m at a landmark of sorts π
I did quite a few modifications to the stitch patterns.βThe arrow pattern you see is something I made up to replace a pattern element (pine tree) that was bugging me. Also, I flipped half of the cables so they reverse direction on opposite sides of the central panel (the big diamond). I’m enjoying this yarn, which has a somewhat tighter twist than I’m used to. I was a little worried it was going to turn out stiff, but so far it’s not bad. It’s not drapey, but it’s not stiff as a board either.β

Punky is helping!
How are your projects going? Do you have any helpers helping you?

How fun that you are changing the pattern to suit your tastes. I’ll bet that the yarn will relax and get more drapey after the sweater is washed.

Yes, I’m happy with the changes. It is pretty firm yarn, but hopefully it will relax a little bit!
