Project

Wednesday WIPs

Both current projects are moving along pretty well!

I’m on the last hound’s-tooth section on my Back to the Fuchsia (Ravelry link). I love the results, and it is a pretty fun knit. Definitely recommend!

Now that the accent yarn situation is figured out, I’m back to making good progress on my Halloween Cats cardigan. It’s just to the point where I can divide out the arms and keep going on the torso. When I was originally planning this sweater and decided to reverse the cats in the middle back, I was trying to think of a cute design I could chart out for the middle back. I wound up not doing that, but the cats made their own cute design instead!

Next up – more hound’s-tooth and stockinette!

How are your projects going?

  1. Aaawww, the cats made a heart with their tails on the back. ❀ So cute!

Also, it tickles me that you used bright blue in a shawl that has "fuchsia" in the name. I love the way it looks, but I don't know if I would have been able to wrap my head around it. I'm sure I would have ended up using a more red-purple yarn!

    1. I know! I didn’t plan it – the pattern just worked out that way πŸ™‚
Everything in me was telling me to use fuchsia for the color parts, but I have already done so much pink knitting, considering that I am not really a pink person so much. But I still did want a bright 80’s color. So cyan it was!

      1. I’m glad it posted! It seems WP logged me out in some places but not all places, all on the same web browser. Refreshing didn’t do anything to fix it, either. I’m hoping that quitting out of the browser and reopening will fix it.
