This week has been a busy one! I didn’t have a lot of time to knit, unfortunately, but did still make progress on all the WIPs.
I got a start on clue 7 of Celtic Mist. I’m hoping to get it finished in time for the final clue release on Monday. The pattern is little diamonds in columns. I like that there are some motifs that have repeated a couple of times, though somewhat different in each repeats. Diamonds and steps/diagonal lines have made a few appearances. It helps the whole thing look cohesive and not like a random assemblage of stitch patterns.

I also finished the first color/lace section of Back to the Fuchsia! I’m very happy with how the cyan is showing up against the black and white houndstooth π

And finally, I got about half a pattern repeat done on Powdermill. I’ve got about an inch or so until I need to add in the sleeve steeks. I am really enjoying this knit π

What about you? What are you working on and how is it going?
Eee these colours are all so great! The cyan especially. I’m making good progress on my fancy knit Wingspan, and also on a simpler Twilight cardigan.

The border on the right is now about 8′ long and will get sewn around the bottom of the shawl when they’re blocked.

Wow, your Powdermill is really coming along! I love the colors of your Back to the Fuschia. The look so great together. Weβre in about the same place on Celtic Mists. I am also enjoying this knit and looking forward to wrapping up in the shawl!

Amazing WIPs – I am amazed how you just switch between complex knitting projects that are going on simultaneously!
That cyan is so amazing with the black and white check!

Aw! Thank you! I feel the same about you and your quilting and sewing projects! Thank you – I really like the cyan in that project as well. It does pop against the black and white!
