I have a little progress in on DH’s new gray socks!

The heels are turned and I have a few rows in on the legs. Now it’s just straight on until the yarn runs short, then ribbings!
How was your Monday?

Yay sock progress! Okay, this is the ONE thing that could get me to start knitting two-at-a-time socks… being able to use up literally all of the yarn. I may have to rethink my attitude on TAAT sock knitting.

I love using up all the yarn! You can stop short of that if you want, but it’s very satisfying to use it all sometimes 🙂

This is one thing I love about sock yarns where each ball of yarn is about the amount I want for one sock. I can start at the toe and knit until the ball runs out, and not need to worry about whether or not I’ll have enough for the second sock (as long as the balls actually are the same size, LOL).

Yes! I love that too. The few times I tried top down I spent the entire time worrying about if I would have enough yarn to finish.

What yarn are you using for this? I like the subtle variegation.

It is Lang Yarns Horoscope One Twin Silk 4 ply superwash. This is the Gemini colorway. I got it at The Sow’s Ear! It is really nice yarn!
