My Variance hat is done! This is the May project for AC Knitwear’s Confident Knitting club, and the skill this month was catching floats.

It is a great pattern and fun to knit 🙂 The pattern is by Janette Budge, and the yarn is Jamieson & Smith yarn – if anyone is curious I can find out the color names/numbers.
I also got to use my blocking skills from last month on this one!
Very pretty!

I did a fair isle knitting course with Janette Budge a few years ago at a local-ish yarn festival, her Instagram is fun to follow as it shows life in the Shetlands.
