We don’t do a ton of decorating for Christmas, but we do get lights up outside and do some lights and a smallish tree inside, plus put around some festive tchotchkes.

And I spent the rest of the day knitting and watching Marvel movies 🙂
How was your Black Friday? Did you do any shopping? At the stores or online?
That wreath is super cute! Sounds like a very good day to me.

Festive! I try not to shop on Black Friday, but I did order a pair of DPNs I need to finish my Shetland tweed throw.

That’s just knitting supplies -that doesn’t really count as shopping 🙂

I did shop! I needed some hair mousse. Ulta was having a $10 of $40 so I bought a few things I need and got a great price. That’s about it. We are planning a move. I don’t need more stuff. (You may need to remind me of this when I get anxious and need retail therapy! 🙂 )

Your home looks festive!
My Black Friday involved no shopping or decorating. I’ll start shopping Monday maybe. Tuesday I’ll start decorating:)

It’s somewhat festive 🙂 We don’t go full-on holly jolly, but having lights up does make us happy 🙂
That’s a good time to get started!

I mostly avoided Black Friday – spent ages yarn browsing on line and bought nothing – feeling guilty that my stash is too large already and the yarn I was drooling over still was going to cost an arm and a leg. No Christmas decs up yet in our house though I have decoupaged a box with handmade red, green and white papers – it reminded me of red roses but hubby says is looks Christmassy!

Right there with you on the yarn. There is so much out there that is beautiful, but I have so much yarn already!
Your box sounds really pretty – are you sharing pics?

In a while I shall share pics. Been a bit slack posting on here, but spent plenty of time enjoying what others are writing.

I did NOT do any shopping. I wanted to put up Christmas lights (it was 60 degrees outside today!) but wound up doing laundry and grocery shopping instead. Maybe tomorrow. Your lights are so pretty!

There is plenty of time to get the lights going. 60! That is crazy warm for November!

I am so happy to see your outside lights are colored. I love putting a tree on my porch with multi-colored lights. The family likes white on the indoor tree.
No shopping for me.

I kind of see the appeal of white lights, but I think colored lights are much more festive 🙂 I didn’t get much shopping done either.

Lovely wreath and I did some crocheting and watching Marvel movies – my partner John had never seen Thor: Ragnarok so that was a fun watch!

We watched some marvel movies this weekend too! We are nerding out and watching them through in chronological order.

I bought lots of sewing patterns online. I have yet to drag out Christmas decor. Waiting for these lights to be delivered.
