I finished my Broom Riding Cowl this evening!

I do need to soak it and give it a light blocking still. My tension is slightly wonky in a few places, which it will hopefully smooth out. Otherwise, very happy with this one!

The pattern is Broom Riding Cowl by Vanessa Ewing of Cape May Fiber. The blue yarn is Gedifra Metal Tweed in color 757 (Navy), and the silver is Concept by Katia Versailles in color 86 (Pearl Light Gray\Silver). This pattern is an easy knit and has good clear instructions and graph. I like it so much I’m actually thinking about making it again in a different colorway!
It’s gorgeous. I love it! Nice yarn choices. What colors are you thinking about for the second?

Thank you! For a second one I’m thinking about yarns more like the ones you have – black background and yellowy-orange for the moon and stars.

Looks very nice. I don’t see the wonkiness that you see. I doubt anyone else will either.

That’s beautiful! The moon is almost full now, and I’ve been watching it over the past few days. Your cowl would be fun to watch as it’s being knit! Love the sparkle, too.
