Vogue Knitting Live’s virtual event is going on this week! It sold out pretty quickly, and I missed out on several classes I wanted to take while I was fumbling with my calendar to see if there were any weekdays I would be able to take off. However, I did manage to snag two classes tomorrow! Both classes are with teachers I haven’t had before and are on interesting topics, so I’ll take it 🙂
It will be interesting to see how this event goes. They have a marketplace, with links to vendor stores and timeslots for vendors to do presentations or do live videos from their stores and that sort of thing. They have online events like yoga for knitters and Q&A sessions with various people. And of course, classes. The classes are shorter than at the in-person events. But they are live and interactive, so you can ask questions and so on. If this one goes well, they mentioned the possibility of another such event a bit later on in the summer. I’ll let you know how it goes!
Woo! Have fun!

As far as I can tell, it’s going swimmingly! Today I taught the third of my four classes, one more tomorrow. What classes are you taking?

I took Shawl Shapes with Bristol Ivy and Shawls, Scarves, etc. with Steven Be. And a lecture with Cecilia Campochiero on her new book. All were fantastic! I hope they do another one of these, and next time I am definitely taking one of your classes!
