They don’t look like much, but here are the sweater fronts from my Dockside cardigan – just 1/2 and inch from done! So hopefully that will get done tomorrow and I can get them blocking. Then on to sleeve island!

Quite A Yarn 
I assume this is sewn together at the end? I don’t have the skills or courage yet to give that a try. I’ve started on a hat with the wool Alissa gifted me, it’s such pretty colours I’ve gone for just a 2×2 rib hat. I’m also thinking of caking up some skeins for a 2 colour brioche project!

It is sewn together. You can do it! One of these days, give it a try – you will surprise yourself 🙂 When I started knitting as a kid, that’s how most sweaters were made, so it’s really what I’m used to.
Can’t wait to see your hat – that is pretty yarn, and I know you will make something gorgeous out of it! And looking forward to seeing your brioche project as well!

Sewing is going great, knitting, not a stitch since I can’t remember!! Must get back to that shawl and make a newborn baby hat.

They look great. You’ll be rocking that sweater before you know it. I have three projects cast on now and NOTHING I want to knit. I’m grumpy and need to find something that inspires me.

Something will grab you, or you will come back around to your projects! Dig out your most beautiful skein of yarn and make something special out of it – a hat or a cowl or something quick!

I finished my second Aspen Leaf scarf, this time in Knit Picks Chroma Worsted. And that left me NOTHING on the needles, and I was about to leave for Red Alder Fiber Arts Retreat. Yikes! I did a very perfunctory gauge swatch (not nearly big enough to tell) and cast on so I would have some knitting in my hands. I’ve finished the lace yoke…I wonder what size this will be? The pattern says to wear it with 4 to 12 inches of positive ease. I’m guessing it will fall somewhere within that range! Really, I just needed some knitting in my hands for when I wasn’t teaching…
