  1. I assume this is sewn together at the end? I don’t have the skills or courage yet to give that a try. I’ve started on a hat with the wool Alissa gifted me, it’s such pretty colours I’ve gone for just a 2×2 rib hat. I’m also thinking of caking up some skeins for a 2 colour brioche project!

    1. It is sewn together. You can do it! One of these days, give it a try – you will surprise yourself 🙂 When I started knitting as a kid, that’s how most sweaters were made, so it’s really what I’m used to.
Can’t wait to see your hat – that is pretty yarn, and I know you will make something gorgeous out of it! And looking forward to seeing your brioche project as well!

  2. I finished my second Aspen Leaf scarf, this time in Knit Picks Chroma Worsted. And that left me NOTHING on the needles, and I was about to leave for Red Alder Fiber Arts Retreat. Yikes! I did a very perfunctory gauge swatch (not nearly big enough to tell) and cast on so I would have some knitting in my hands. I’ve finished the lace yoke…I wonder what size this will be? The pattern says to wear it with 4 to 12 inches of positive ease. I’m guessing it will fall somewhere within that range! Really, I just needed some knitting in my hands for when I wasn’t teaching…
