This has been a satisfyingly yarny weekend! I did have some errands to run and chores to do, but in amongst all that, I did get to do a lot of knitting 🙂
I did get some done on Forest Weave, but it really doesn’t look any different than it did before. There’s a bit more of it, but nothing dramatic.
I did get a little spindling practice in as well, and got some lovely pink yarn spun out of the roving my friend gave me. More on that later this week.
Also, I finished section 3 on the beaded version of my shawl design!
Please excuse the crappy indoor night time lighting – I will get better pictures tomorrow afternoon. Here is the whole thing so far…
Starting the transition to the last section, and am pretty happy with this version so far. The last bit is feather and fan waves, and I’m giving some thought as to how I want to bead that part. I bought a bead mix for that section as well, but think I want to go back to being more regular in bead placement. Well, I have a little time to think about that before I have to plunge in!
How was your weekend? Do anything fun?

We went back to our hometown for a graduation picnic and I got some crafting done, so it was all good!
