High Seas and Other Wacky Entertainment

I wrote a couple days ago about a shipboard murder mystery we were watching on Netflix called High Seas. We were about halfway through the series at that point. Well, we finished binge-watching the rest of the series Monday afternoon – it was pretty good! I won’t say spectacular, because there were bits that were a little cheesy. However, there were twists and turns all the way through, and it ended with a pretty big cliffhanger! If you are interested, it is on Netflix. I have read unofficial reports that a season 2 is in the works. I sure hope so!

And now I am stuck for things to watch, because I am waiting for Friday, when Good Omens starts airing on Amazon. I love the book, so I’m excited to see what they do with it as a series or miniseries – not sure which they are doing. Actually, I’m waiting for Friday for three things: Good Omens, the new Godzilla movie comes out, and also the newest Rivers of London novella is released that day. It is called The October Man, and takes the story to Germany, which is a departure because the main story is based in London. I’m like a kid waiting for Christmas!

So until Friday, I need to keep myself occupied. What are you reading and/or watching these days?

  1. I have a habit of watching all the weird shows on the History channel or the Travel channel. I love America Unearthed, Deadliest Catch, Expedition Unknown and The Curse Of Oak Island. I don’t know what it is about them but I never miss them:)

  2. Haha we finished Good Omens yesterday, and went to see Godzilla on Thursday, so we are thinking alike! I’m planning on trying Rev on BritBox. I’ve always liked Tom Hollander, and it has Olivia Coleman in it, so worth a try.
