I actually got started on designing that cowl the stitch pattern exercise got me thinking about! I’m just getting started, but here it is so far
I’m thinking of ripping back a bit – the first stitch pattern should have gone for just few more repeats. The yarn is KFI Luxury Silk Sport, and the color is a sort of tonal blue. It is really lovely yarn, and as soon as I started playing around with the wave/water stitch patterns this yarn came to mind. It is all silk, which feels great, but now I’m thinking I probably should have done a test one with a sturdier yarn and then made a final version with this yarn. Oh well – live and learn. It may also stand up fine to a little ripping – hope so!
