I once again spent the weekend making something for my sheep doll rather than doing any serious knitting for myself, or indeed anything much else at all. Although I do in fact have the kit for her next official pattern, I decided to try my hand at designing something for her myself – a pareo!
I had some sparkly yarn I had gotten at a yarn exchange some time ago, and my Mom kindly donated some she had leftover as well. Because of course Dolores needs to sparkle! I did some basic measurements, and then just kind of made it up as I went. Here is the result…
The sparkle doesn’t show up quite as well as I’d like – it was around 9 pm when I finished, so I’ll try to get some better pictures in the sunlight tomorrow 🙂 For anyone interested, I am planning to write up the pattern. You know, in case you need to knit a pareo for a sheep doll. And who among us hasn’t?
But in any case, Dolores is ready for the pool, for the beach, or for any summertime glamour opportunities that come her way!
Dolores looks fabulous!! I knew you’d be spending all your time creating a closet full of clothes for her:) She really does require it:)

Delores is your alter-ego. You can dress her the way you wouldn’t dress yourself! Unless you wear glittery stuff too!

Not generally, no. I think you are right! She’s sort of my inner Diva 🙂
