I’ve got 1 old and 2 new projects actively in the works right now. With Supernova finished off, I picked Back to the Fuchsia up again and made a bit of progress. It’s coming along really well!

As for new projects, I started a Halloween sweater KAL with Alissa of Snakes & Cranes and Sarah of mildlygranola. We are all making versions of the Fall Favorite collection sweater. Last year we all did the pumpkin version. This year we are doing different versions. I’ve really just gotten a start, but it knits up pretty quickly. That’s the difference between knitting with fingering weight and DK!

And finally, I found some nifty fine cotton tape yarn, Japansk Bomuld from Isager yarns, and also a simple scarf pattern to make with it, so that’s now my car/meeting knitting.

As you can see, it’s just a start to the scarf, but it uses pretty big needles and is just straight stockinette, so I think it will go pretty quickly. The pattern is Alexandra’s Airplane scarf. The link takes you to Churchmouse Yarns and Teas, where you can see not only the original version of the scarf, but also the one with this yarn. My yarn combination isn’t one they already had kitted up, but it’s what I like 🙂
Powdermill is still on the back burner for the moment. Once I finish either Back to the Fuchsia or the Halloween sweater, I will get back on it.
Hope your WIPs are whipping along! Have anything fun planned for the weekend?
OMG! I saw the first picture in my feed and thought you were knitting a thong! Gave me a good laugh! Looks like a nice collection of projects!

I’m losing the plot, I was thinking your yarn looked twisted on the circular needle but now I realise it’s knit flat so doesn’t matter 😂😴 time for me to get some sleep I think

Tape yarn is neat! I haven’t done much with it yet, but I’ve always wanted to knit more with it. How are you liking this brand?

It is! I knit a top with a looser tape yarn a few years ago, and that was kind of difficult because it was a pretty loose weave. This yarn is neat to work with. It’s pretty tightly woven, so it isn’t splitty and the needle doesn’t get hung up in it.

Oh, that helps a lot! I’m really hesitant to buy novelty yarn anywhere other than in-person because it can be hard to tell from pictures how tight the weave is.

Love the colours for your Fall Favourites. The pattern is still on my wish list so I’m very envious that other people are onto their second version!
