Project

Wednesday WIPs

Two active projects on the go this week, and both of them I am knitting along with friends!

Celtic Mist shawl MKAL (Ravelry link) has been going for a while now, with new stitch pattern sections to knit each week. This was week 6 of 8, though the designer recently promised a 9th bonus stitch section! I am knitting this one along with Alissa, and am really enjoying this one, and looking forward to wearing it when it is done 🙂

The second current project is Back to the Fuchsia! (Ravelry link) I am knitting this one with Bonny and having a great time doing this one too! I am using Knit Picks Palette yarns in black, white, and cyan (not in use yet – just two more rows and I will be using the cyan).

This project is a shawl and not a thong, which it sort of looks like right now. This section is all slip stitch, and the next section will be lace. It is a nifty balance between to two techniques. I am enjoying this project too 🙂

I did get a little bit done on my Powdermill last week, but not enough to share a photo again this week – not a lot has changed. Soon I will focus on that sweater and make a bit more real progress. But for now, I am loving working on my two friend-based KALs!

  1. The stitch effect on the back to the …I can’t spell the next word…can’t even get it close enough for predictive text to help me 😂…is fabulous. I think cyan should pop really well with the black and white.
