Yay – something else is finished! My Patina scarf cowl is done. The pattern is part of the Confident Knitting pattern/technique club by AC Knitwear, and was designed by Jeanette Sloan (Ravelry link). The yarn is Schoppel Wolle Gradient in the Tea Ceremony colorway.
I did change it a bit. It was supposed to be a scarf with a clever fold in one end for securing the other end, but I just couldn’t face that much knitting on it, so changed it to a cowl. It is a really lovely design with clear directions. and I really like the stitch pattern and the yarn. This really was a case of it being me, not the pattern. I just finished a never-ending project (Bonbori shawl) and really needed something quick to do! I did do embroidery all over it, though , instead of just at the end. And the technique this month was embroidering on your knitting, so I feel like that covers it π
The July Confident Knitting pattern was already released, but I’m going to put off casting it on for a few days. Right now I just have my EM socks on the needles, and I’d like to take a few days to just work on that. Will I? Time will tell π
Oh this is lovely and adorable! Gorgeous and interestingly textured background and the stitching is great. Cool idea!

It is gorgeous!!! I did a hat with embroidery once, it’s so neat, but I’ll keep to just knitting.

I don’t know that I would do a lot of it, but it’s a neat effect π

The yarn is stunning. The transitions are really elegant. Your embroidery is awesome! Are the colors provided in the kit, or did you come up with the combinations on your own? I love the outcome.

The yarn is a gradient, so the knitting color transitions are from the kit. I got the embroidery yarns from my scrap bin. Thank you!
