What’s Next?

For my next project, I am going back to the plan!

I’m making the Buttoned Wrap Skirt from Churchmouse Yarns & Teas, using some Debbie Bliss Milano from my stash. I did a swatch last night, and the yarn is slightly off of gauge. The pattern calls for a slightly heavier yarn than this, but I was going to adjust the pattern slightly anyway, so I think it will work out. I’m pretty excited to get going on this – this project has been in my queue for a couple years now. So hopefully, I will get a good start on it this long weekend!

      1. Thank you, it’s good to be back. We are well thanks. I have been working a lot which is good financially but has been very tiring. My husband and I managed to get away on a road trip down the South Island recently. It was a combined business trip for him and a visit to our daughter’s place for her children’s birthdays. I finally finished the vest I made up the pattern for while we were away, and also made a pair of gloves each for the 2 grandchildren before we left. Trying to decide on my next project now.

  3. This looks like a fun pattern! It really like the yarn.
    I’m nearly through the first skein of the baby blanket. I’m hoping 4-5 skeins will do it. I am itching to cast on something new but I haven’t decided what just yet:)
