Shelley Summer Top is done!
The color on this is terrible – another terrible indoor late night photo, but it’s done! The color is more true in this previous photo. The pattern is Shelley Summer Top by Nancy Ricci, and the yarn I used is Bamboo Pop in the Brilliant Blues colorway. It was an easy knit – the pattern is a 4 row repeat that is super easy to memorize. I would recommend this yarn for a summer or lightweight project – it is very soft and drapy, and is very comfortable to knit and to wear.

Haha, I guess so, but cooler than the upper 90s of July. I try not to complain too much because I’d much rather be hot than cold!

Yes, you are right – you are basically knitting two rectangles and sewing them together at the sides and shoulders. It is flattering!
