Either way, although this is a cute pattern, it definitely needed yarns with more contrast! As Sarah suggested, I am planning on adapting this to socks, and will definitely be picking different yarns. Although I am stocked up with yarn and projects in a pretty big way, I might still start this one sooner rather than later – we shall see!

Thank you! I think so too – there is a nice wave pattern at the top that I am thinking of for the sole and for a band around the top of the socks just under the ribbing. Otherwise the shark pattern would look good for the foot and the leg, I think 🙂

Finished a shawl on vacation, hate the bind off so I will rip it out and redo it by sewing up the edge into a cowl. I hate curling bind offs!!

Yay for a finish. I’m zooming along on my sock WIP; I need to knit the rolled cuff. I’m debating on whether to knit the second sock or cast on a new yarn.
