Project

FO Friday

I did manage to get one small thing finished this week – a pair of Woodland Loafer slippers!

These were part of the Mason Dixon Knitting March Mayhem, where the pattern made it all the way to the final four. Even though this design wasn’t the final winner, it was intriguing enough for me to go get the pattern.

They are an easy knit – they went together in just free moments here and there over the course of the week. They are lighter weight than the felted ones I normally make, but that is OK – they can be warmer weather slippers! And they are pretty cushy, as they are made out of bulky weight yarn – which is another reason they go together pretty quickly.

Do you have any quick to make projects you really enjoy?

    1. I’m not sure about a sole treatment yet – haven’t worn then that much, though I probably will today. I did buy some of that gel for slipper/sock soles a while ago, but have yet to do anything with it. They are cozy! Dishcloths are good for something to do quickly 🙂

    1. Aw! Thanks! I love reading about your activities and seeing the looks you put together! I haven’t paid attention to makeup or skincare products and so on in a while, and I really need to. So you are teaching me a lot!

    1. They are very cozy! About the equivalent of thick socks, but less hassle to put on and take off. Plus they look like dashing loafers! A lot of knitted slippers do have a more feminine look to them – these do have a bit more of a masculine styling. He might like them!
