Clue 1 of Casapinka’s Perfect Blend MKAL is done. Clue 2 should be released at some point on Monday, so next up is starting some socks!
Yarn sets for this MKAL are being done by Miss Babs (also a lot of other dyers, but Miss Babs was the dyer Casapinka originally worked with on it). Because I am knitting from stash, I didn’t buy any of the yarn sets for this MKAL, but I did treat myself to the Miss Babs Perfect Blend Extras Set
It is a cute project bag, two teacup stitch markers, and a bag of the special tea Simpson & Vail blended for this MKAL 🙂 The tea is pretty good, by the way – it is a mellow black tea with a little bit of mango flavoring 🙂 I also got a lovely little yarn sample! ❤ Now the last thing I need more of is either tea or project bags, and yet I could not resist. Well, they will definitely get used!
I can never say no to a new project bag. I would have done the same thing. The shawl is going to be beautiful.

I think it’s a great idea, you want to feel fully part of the MKAL but want to use your own stash, what you’ve done is the perfect compromise and they are such cute stitch markers and it’s important to be hydrated and tea has antioxidants in it, so it’s a clear win. 🙂

I never heard of project bags before, but yours looks beautiful! And that mango tea sounds delicious!

Project bags are little bags, usually of fabric, meant to carry knit or crochet (or any other type of small handwork). They usually have little sayings or funny or cute artwork on them, or are made of interesting fabric. Fancy ones may have pockets in them or elaborate closures. They are kind of addicting in themselves 🙂 If you are ever on Etsy, search on Project Bag and you will see!
