Since the last post, I have been able to make at least a little progress on all three (3 – how did that happen!) projects on the needles.
Nessie sock #2 is moving along – now you can see two little Nessies appearing on the foot!
Glenesk is moving along as well – I’m about 24 rows away from being able to do the three needle bind-off at the shoulders. No pictures from this weekend’s work – I’m hoping to have more impressive results from this coming weekend!
The thing that got the most work done on it was the Entrelac Kerchief.
I had a pretty good amount of time in the car this weekend, which translated into lots of knitting time. As it turns out, this is pretty good travel knitting! One ball of yarn to manage, and once you get the hang of the pattern, you don’t really have to think about it too much. I think the entrelac pattern really plays up the color transitions of the yarn.
Also, due to a series of misadventures, no pictures of the red/white/black bulky weight thing yet. There was an issue with buttons, and also with what I thought was going to be a scenic photo op, which turned out not to be that scenic. More later!
I like the pattern on the last one. Kind of a parquet of sorts. Love the Nessies too.

Thank you! I’m happy with them too 🙂 Yes, entrelac is a technique that produces a fabric that looks like parquet or basketweave. It’s a little fiddly, but turns out neat 🙂

Thank you! If I could just focus on one thing at a time, I think they would move quicker, but that doesn’t seem to be how I work 🙂
