I don’t know about you, but I spent a good portion of my long Labor Day weekend knitting!
Got a little more done on my Colorblock Top. I know this looks a lot like the last time I posted this project. It feels like that too 🙂 But progress is happening, just not as quickly as I might like.
Otherwise, I did a binge knit of Geek-Along squares, getting caught up to date, which I will post a bit later this week. I have a little bit to do on one last one, then I am there!
Finally, Craftsy had a free viewing day for all their classes on Monday! For anyone not familiar with Craftsy, I encourage you to check them out. It is an online learning platform and supply shop for all kinds of crafts. They have knitting of course, and crochet. But also sewing and quilting and drawing and painting and woodwork and cooking and photography and God knows what all else. You need to purchase most of the classes, though there are a few free ones. Anyway, I took advantage of the free day to watch a couple of classes I have been thinking about but haven’t been quite ready to commit on yet. One by Clara Parkes, who I just love, and another one on designing cowls, which was also very informative. It’s a great resource for anyone who likes to learn and can’t always get away to the conventions or retreats!
So I got lots done and got some relaxing in as well. Can’t ask for more than that!
Isn’t Craftsy fun. On Monday I watched Stephen West’s Shawlscapes. It was so good.
